The Georgian Court University Department of Athletics is pleased to welcome
Katharine Rivera to its staff as Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Information.
The native of Spotswood, N.J., who earned her undergraduate degree in sports management from East Stroudsburg University, will serve oversee gameday operations including all staffing, facility planning and scheduling.

Christopher McKibben, Associate Director of Athletics for Communications and Operations. "Her initiative and unwavering willingness to learn and contribute make her a phenomenal fit to the already-dynamic environment that we have fostered here on campus. Katie will offer a tremendous sense of leadership and a fresh perspective to our already stellar staff, while serving to provide a complete student-athlete experience for each of our Lions!"
A tennis student-athlete at ESU, Rivera assisted with game day operations for the Warriors during her tenure at the university. She also served a marketing and communications internship with Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa.

"As a New Jersey native and former Division II student-athlete, I am honored that I get to start my athletic career here with such an amazing staff and so many talented student-athletes.
