CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y.- Georgian Court University's Tiffany Okeime earned regional and national acclaim this week after an eye-popping Shot Put toss of 15.46m at Saturday's Princeton University Invitational. The mighty heave makes Okieme the top-ranked NCAA Division II freshman in the country and second-best shot putter in the nation.

For her efforts, Tiffany has earned East Coast Conference Women's Co-Field Athlete of the Week, sharing the accolade with Katie Gallagher (Fr.-North Massapequa, N.Y.) of Molloy College. 

Georgian Court will participate in another tune-up this afternoon at Monmouth University's Moonlight at the MAC before competing in the ECC Championships this weekend.
