STARKVILLE, MS-The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced that Georgian Court University's Rachel Ruch, the two-time reigning CACC Player of the Year and 2012 Daktronics Softball East First Team selection, has earned a spot on the NFCA's Division II All-East Region First Team. Rachel will now receive an automatic appearance on the NFCA's  All-American ballot.

 Rachel enjoyed a tremendous senior campaign that saw her post a .416 batting average, which ranked fourth among CACC leaders, along with 59 RBI (2nd in CACC), 47 runs ( 6th in CACC) and nine home runs, whcih tied for the conference lead.  Ruch was honored as the NFCA/Louisville Slugger Division II National Player of the Week for April 2-8.

The Edison, NJ native will go down as the most prolific offensive threat in the history of the Georgian Court softball program, compiling a .393 career batting average to go along with 281 hits and 200 runs scored in 225 total games.
