Berger Selected as First 2010 CACC Runner of the Week

NEW HAVEN, CT- Georgian Court University's Justine Berger has been selected 2010's first CACC Female Runner of the Week after leading the Lions and placing 20th at Saturday's Monmouth University XC Kick-Off.

Berger, against many Division I competitors, finished the 4K with a time of 15:47.5. This marks the sophomore's first Runner of the Week accolade after winning the CACC Rookie of the Week award on eight separate occasions in 2009. Justine has been GCU's top finisher in all nine of her collegiate meets. 

GCU next competes on Saturday morning at the Fordham University Fiasco & Follies in The Bronx, NY.
