GCU Soccer Blanked by Bloomsburg University, 2-0

LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University soccer squad dropped a 2-0 decision to visiting Bloomsburg University of PA in Saturday afternoon’s 2010 season opener.
After a scoreless first half, Bloomsburg senior Kelsey Stoka put the Huskies up, 1-0, with a goal in the 48th minute (47:39). Junior Katie Walczuk added the insurance tally at 73:30.
Bloomsburg (1-0) dominated in the shots column, outshooting Georgian Court, 27-5. Junior goalkeeper Shealyn Sullivan collected 15 saves for GCU (0-1) in the defeat.
The Lions next play on Wednesday afternoon when they host Dowling College at 4:00 PM on Investors Savings Bank Field.
