PHILADELPHIA-
Michael Bronstein, Certified Athletic Trainer at Georgian Court University, recently has been appointed to the Board of Directors of
Maccabi USA/Sports for Israel.
This two-year appointment will allow Bronstein to guide the organization's fund-raising efforts while implementing programs and strengthening ties to his Jewish heritage. Michael has also been appointed as Co-Chairperson (along with his wife, Rachel) for All-Sports for the European Maccabi Games in Vienna, Austria next July.
With his commitment to his heritage and profession, Bronstein will serve as Head Athletic Trainer at the World Marital Arts Championships in Las Vegas, NV, September 17-19.
“I am honored to be appointed to this position," said Bronstein. "I look to take my experiences that I have gained from Maccabi USA both locally and internationally, and bring them to the Georgian Court University community. This will help me in my abilities to lead by example and always to put my best effort forward.”
Maccabi USA endeavors, through sports, to perpetuate and preserve the American Jewish community by encouraging Jewish pride, strenghtening Jewish bonds and by creating a heightened awareness of Israel and Jewish idenity. The volunteer organization seeked to enrich the lives of Jewish youth in the United States, Israel and the Diaspora through athletic, cultural and educational programs.
