STARKVILLE, MS- Georgian Court University softball ace, Diana Sansevera, has been named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II National Pitcher of the Week.

Sansevera earned three wins in three starts for Georgian Court last week, all while allowing just 15 hits, two earned runs and three walks to go along with 40 strikeouts.

The Manalapan, N.J. native struck out 13 or more batters in each of her appearances on the week, fanning 14 against Adelphi and 13 in games with Holy Family and Bloomfield. She ended the week with a 0.67 ERA with a shutout against Holy Family.

This marks the second time that Sansevera, the reigning CACC Pitcher of the Week, has received this elite honor, having originally won the award for the week of 3/8/09 after she went 4-1 with a save and 69 strikeouts in the circle at last year's Rebel Spring Games.
