NEW HAVEN, CT- Softball's Diana Sansevera and lacrosse's Samantha Shaw have been selected as the CACC Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively, for the week ending March 29.

Sansevera dominated in the circle last week, going 3-0 with three complete games and 40 strikeouts in 21.0 IP. The Manalapan, NJ native, now a two-time winner of this award in 2010, yielded only 15 hits and two earned runs for a 0.67 ERA. Diana struck out 14 in a 7-1 win over Adelphi University (3/24) and K'd 13 at Holy Family University (3/25) and vs. Bloomfield College (3/27). The 2009 CACC Pitcher of the Year leads the conference with a 10-1 record.

Shaw (pictured) scored the first three goals of her collegiate career (on three shots) in last Thursday's 24-2 victory vs. the newest member of the CACC, Post University.
