Three Georgian Court University student-athletes received the exciting opportunity to appear on national television later this month as they star in a public service announcement for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).
Amy Berry (track & field, volleyball),
Courtney Cuevas (softball) and
Kelly Lyons (soccer), along with student-athletes from Bloomfield College and Post University, traveled to Waterbury, CT last month to tell the camera why they chose Division II and the CACC. The PSA, released on
www.caccathletics.org on Tuesday, will air during the Bloomfield-Caldwell women's basketball game, which will air on the CBS College Sports Network on Saturday, February 27th at noon.
The 2009-10 season marks the fourth year Division II athletics will be televised on CBS College Sports. Past CACC participants include the Philadelphia University men's team in 2007 and 2009, the Holy Family University men's team in 2009 and the women's teams from Holy Family and Georgian Court University in 2008.
