Georgian Court Athletics

LAKEWOOD, NJ- Georgian Court University's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), along with members of all eight sports teams, recently purchased gifts for Adopt-a-Family.  Rather than working with Catholic Charities and Diocese of Trenton as in years past, SAAC partnered with campus ministries here at GCU to help families within the university’s community.  Some of these families are students that sit right next to our own student-athletes in class.  However all of the families remained anonymous. 

This past Tuesday, all of the student-athletes gathered for the SAAC Christmas Party where all of the teams put their presents together to deliver to campus ministries.  On Santa’s list were items like pots and pans to iPods to toiletries.
